Meet our new composite landscape products

Our solution to urban landscape planning.

As cities grow and public spaces evolve, the challenge is clear: how can we create urban environments that are both beautiful and sustainable? Traditional landscaping products often lack versatility and are not made with the planet in mind. That’s where Bú steps in. Our commitment to innovation has led to the development of a new range of composite landscape products that address these very issues.

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest additions to the sustainable building world: composite planters, benches, and waste bins. Each product, made from extremely durable and eco-friendly recycled composite materials, is designed to enhance urban landscapes with a touch of green sophistication.

Planters

A landscape product - composite planter. An elongated, rectangular, glossy composite planter box on a grey tiled floor, filled with a lush assortment of green plants. Some of the plants have broad leaves, while others exhibit more slender foliage. There is a plant with variegated leaves of green and yellow, adding a splash of color to the arrangement. The planter is situated outdoors, with a blurred background hinting at an urban landscape with modern architecture.

Our sleek composite planters are not just about aesthetics; they represent a leap forward in sustainable design. They’re crafted from recycled materials, providing a longer-lasting alternative to traditional planters. These planters are perfect for adding a burst of life to concrete- and steel-dominated spaces. Did we mention that the manufacturing of these planters has a fraction of the CO2 cost compared to traditional steel and concrete planters?

Benches

Landscape product - a composite bench. A modular composite bench for modern landscape with matte gray sides and wooden planks on top on a neutral gray background.

Meet our composite benches – stylish, sturdy, and sustainable. They provide a durable resting place for pedestrians and are crafted to stand up against time and weather, all while maintaining their elegant look with minimal maintenance.

Waste Bins

Landscape product - a composite waste bin. A modern, sleek composite trash bin with a curved black top and vertical slats stands on a cobblestone path and an autumn landscape. In the background, wooden benches align the path under a canopy of trees with golden fall foliage.

Waste bins made from waste. You’ve read it right. These bins are made from what would otherwise be deposited plastic and fiberglass, making them a nod towards a cleaner environment. These bins can easily resist the elements and are designed with a 50+ year lifespan with virtually no maintenance. Most of all, they signal a commitment to cleanliness and sustainability in our urban spaces.

A greener future needs a modular approach.

While each product in our new lineup stands strong on its own, they share a common trait that sets them apart from the rest – modularity. Our composite materials allow for a versatility seldom seen in public landscape fixtures. This modularity means that a planter can be expanded, a bench can be lengthened, and components can be interchanged, all with ease and without excess waste. The panels themselves can even be used as building facades or simply as large floor tiles; imagination is the limit. It’s an innovative solution that speaks to the heart of today’s environmental challenges.

The future of urban landscape products.

The problems are well-known: waste, inefficiency, and a lack of adaptability. Our composite products counter these issues head-on. Not only do they all utilize 100% recycled materials, reducing the demand for virgin resources, but their durability means they last longer than traditional options, cutting down on the cycle of consumption.

Our modular design is more than a feature; it’s a statement. It embodies the adaptability needed in modern urban landscapes and minimizes environmental impact by reducing the need for new resources.

By opting for Bú’s range of composite planters, benches, and waste bins, urban planners and architects have the tools to create spaces that are built to last and designed with the future in mind.
